Elyse Zorn Karlin is the publisher and editor-in-chief of Adornment, The Magazine of Jewelry and Related Arts.

She is a past president of The American Society of Jewelry Historians and is currently the co-director of the Association for the Study of Jewelry & Related Arts (ASJRA).

She runs the Annual Conference on Jewelry & Related Arts and the Annual Jewelry History Series in Miami, FL every winter.

Karlin is the author of:

• the definitive book on jewelry of the Arts and Crafts movement, Jewelry and Metalwork in the Arts and Crafts Tradition

• the catalogues International Art Jewelry: 1895-1925 and Out of this World! Jewelry in the Space Age

She is the co-author of:

• Imperishable Beauty: Art Nouveau Jewelry (accompanied the exhibition of the same name at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston)

• Maker and Muse: Women and Early 20th Century Art Jewelry (also the editor for this book which accompanied the exhibition of the same name at the Richard H. Driehaus Museum, Chicago)

She is co-producing the film, A Story to Wear: A Jewelry History Documentary.
